I connect my HL2 to and HF antenna with PA enabled on the ANT jack and VHF transverter(s) using split IF at 28Mhz at about 0dBm using the new IOBoard Aux Rx and RF1 for the output. The PA needs to be disabled to make it work right on VHF.? The IO board with my customized firmware is handling the J9/J10 switch and band decoder output OK.??
I can disable it (and have Disable T/R in low power = true) in the Config menu but it would nice if it was automatically configured on Xvtr band change for seamless operation.? ?An example of this is the Thetis XVTR setup.? ?Not all transverters use low power IF drive so controlling it per band is most effective.? ?Along with that , per band, is option to set drive level as each can be different.
