Re: 5/6th January - class training?

Sam studying, Alastair his birthday party. Would it not be better to spend class money when more kids can benefit??

If anyone's interested I could set up some 29er class training with Anna coaching this weekend at the Tay.? Either both days or just Sunday?

I'd probably need at least three boats interested to justify running it. I know it's short notice but forecast looking OK, too light if anything might be issue and tides are good as well.? Suzie got Gabby from Tay crewing on Sunday but no one for Saturday just now, Maise got joys of revising!

If not enough interest in coached format we'd still do open sailing on Sunday.

Hi all.

Remember deadline is tonight to sign up. I know it's exam season but if anyone can make it but without normal partner there's others that might helm/crew.

So far four either signed up or about to.

Danny/Tom, Eoghan/Ben, Archie/Ben and Suzie/Maisie.

Cats are meeting Saturday morning. Are you looking to join in?? Also I see some cats are looking to sail on New Year's Day. Do any 29ers want to join in. I am happy to do safety boat if necessary. Don't know time yet.?

Re: RTYC Boxing Day races

Hi, I don’t have a boat (of any kind atm ?) but if someone needed a crew or a helm then I’ll put myself forward. I’ve had a little experience on 29ers and a bit more on 200s and normally sail lasers but I’m looking to do more 29er stuff when possible.
Let me know if your looking...

Just a reminder about the couple of races at the Tay on Boxing Day.? We've got at least three 29ers probably four locally plus any visitors.? Niamh and Anna supposed to be sailing one so that should be good for some mickey taking.??

First start is 12 but given forecast prom could be busy so allow a bit of extra time for that.

Lots of beach catering on the go plus free buffet up at main club with prize giving.?

Happy Xmas

Re: This weekend 22/23rd December

Cheap cava on a big posh keelboat, that it would be?Ch?teau Lafite you'd be?quaffing!

Saturday gusting 27 knots so Sunday it is.? Looks light but tides OK.? If we aim to launch for 10?? Do couple of hours, then 1:30ish to 3:30???
Suzie and Maisie
Eoghan and James Gifford
Danny and Tom.

We've to bring down boat so will be down pretty sharp.

There's a microwave and kettle for lunch stuff but we can't get use of main kitchen.? There's no frostbite either so no club catering on either.

PS in case anyone is ever keen it seems darts are out on Saturdays from 9-10:30 with Rib cover.
