I know Eoghan/Ben and danny/Tom aren't around this weekend but is anyone else wanting to sail at the Tay. Forecast for Saturday is pretty good. Suzie is ideally wanting to play hockey in the morning but could be down to club for 12:30.? Have asked Poppy, topper sailor from Melrose, if she fancies getting out but not heard?back.

Alastair very much looking forward to the academy this weekend, sounds like its going to be fun with lots of racing practice.
With only 2 weeks to go until the Spring champs it's disappointing to only see 3 29ers signed up - I thought the intention was that we'd have 6 or 7 boats out on the water at Tummel?
Hopefully it's just folk leaving it to the last minute?!

Looks like plan is for 3 boats so far for Sunday.
Suzie/Maisie
Stuart/Orri
Eoghan/TBC
LW is at 10:21 so ideally rigged for 9:30 and launch asap??? That way if it's too windy etc we can get boats all packed up and be home for the afternoon.? Forecast looks OK at the moment but Saturday has been all over the shop.
I'd suggest a flask of hot stuff for putting in rib and snacks!!

Hi all,
Richard, Andy, Neil
and myself are all down for ribs tomorrow.? Will perm three from
four morning and afternoon but I'd suggest that it might be
wise, given forecast, to have an adult in drysuit on hand for
launch/recovery.? It's straight onshore and could be fresh! So
if you've got a drysuit bring it in other words.
Also has anyone got
the Yachting Life sailingfast edition of the Scottish calendar.?
If so can they bring it tomorrow, just trying to see what
options there are for venues that might suit.

Re: Feb training weekends
Hi Bear,
What?should?we do about registering for these weekends?
Earlier this week the UK29er class assoc. webpage was down and when I looked again today?registration for 16/17th had closed, while there was no mention of the following weekend.
So would it be OK to pay and register when we get there?
Aiming to arrive around 8.30am for 9.30ish start.
Assume it’s OK to leave our boat set up at Tay for the following weekend?
Thanks for organizing and see you on Saturday.
Susan
Hi all,
Looks like all the ducks lined up for both these weekends.
Currently got 4 boats for each weekend.? ?I'll get it set up on the 29er class website pretty soon and let everyone know once it's on there so they can enter.

Hi all,
Looks like all the ducks lined up for both these weekends.
Currently got 4 boats for each weekend.? ?I'll get it set up on the 29er class website pretty soon and let everyone know once it's on there so they can enter.

Hi all,
I've got enough boats
to run both weekends, just waiting for club to confirm it's all
OK but don't think there will be a problem.? Got 2.5 boats
perhaps more first weekend and 4 second weekend.?
Once I sort out with
memebership sec how I do it I'll set up online entry.
Cheers

Is the weekend of 16/17 going to run? - Calendar is getting
quite booked up so would be good to know if this is a goer?
thanks

Should have added cost will be ?40 per sailor for the weekend.?
For any folk not joining 29er class association there will be an
extra ?15 per weekend for temporary membership.? We use the
class insurance to cover these events, which covers your
employers liability insurance for the coaches as well, and
they've also given us a lot of support as well so we'd really
encourage everyone to join as full members.? I'll email round
about how to join up separately.??

Launch 10:30 and probably just stay out until cold so take flasks and sandwiches for putting into rib.?
