We could do with another Northern parent coming on 29er class committee with me after the summer because David Ibbotson is finishing up.? It's made a huge difference having two folk from the north on the national committee and we're in a very different place to where we were 2-3 years ago, the class down south is very supportive and both they and the RYA are keen to help regional 29ering as much as possible.
We're also going to have the nationals at Largs in the summer of 2021 and it would be better if we could have a "local" person/team helping to make it a success.
There's a few positions becoming vacant, if you want any further info speak to myself or David, we really need someone because without regional reps on the committee it will end up being a south coast class again.
The meetings have all been via Zoom recently, hopefully that will continue, I've never made one in person in the last two years anyway.
The good news is that we've potentially got 5 new boast joinng the fleet up here, 2 boats already purchased with more in the offing.
