MacBook screen repairs

Good afternoon!?

Has anyone had an experience with having a MacBook Pro screen repaired? If so, where did you take it and how was their work and pricing? We do not have AppleCare and I don't think it would be covered anyway.
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro that developed a few small cracks under the camera and the display is no longer working. (Computer is fine, works with an external display.)

Word to the wise, don't use the stick on camera covers and Apple also doesn't recommend using keyboard covers or overlays that cover the keys because these have the potential to damage displays since there isn't enough space between the keyboard and display. There's talk of a class action on the M1s because of this. Apparently it may be an issue with older laptops as well. I can't say for sure that's what happened in my case as I haven't had the lid open in quite some time since it usually operates in clamshell mode on my desk at work, but I did have one of the little stick-on sliding camera covers and the cracks are right below that.?

Thanks!

Re: Tmobile

Aha. I wish I could see how there coverage is in College Station, TX. When I was working there (and using AT&T), I had to go upstairs in my office building to use my cell phone. Really bizarre when working for a tech company.

In Louisville, T-Mobile works fine. Still have plenty of dropped calls at home, but that happened with AT&T even more often.

In rural New Hampshire, it is even worse than AT&T, which is truly hard to believe.

Most of the time I have no service. When I have service, it is usually USCellular, but the service is flaky and often disconnects and drops calls. This happens even if I have three bars. If I am lucky enough to get a call through and I walk one step or maybe two, I will be disconnected. I can only rarely send regular text messages to non-Apple phone users, as most texts fail to send most of the time. When I have weak or no service, my phone somehow doesn't make use of wifi calling (the one thing that worked on AT&T). I have set up e911. I do have wifi calling turned on on my phone. Wifi works well for other things on my phone and on my computer. When I looked on T-Mobile's site, they advise 'restarting my device' and even have a link as to why it is important to restart devices often. Note: restarting does nothing.

The odd thing is that USCellular runs over AT&T's towers, so my switch to T-Mobile may have saved some money, but, at least in northern NH, it hasn't made my service one iota better. It's made it worse.

Anyways, this'll end my rant. I am just amazed at what crap can pass for 'service' as long as the stockholders are well-serviced.

Re: TicketMaster and Javascript

I know it’s not very helpful, Harry, but it opens fine for me in Safari and Chrome on my Mac (Ventura) and in Chrome and Edge in Windows 11 in Parallels.

I have no idea what might be holding you up. You might also try disabling any popup or ad blockers you have, if you can find any.
