AI Prints
For a film my son is making he ask AI to draw a photo that matched the criteria he gave it, this is what it produced instantly. Look at the setting, look at the characters, the shading, the depth of field ! This is unbelievable. He then ask for a barn, evening shade, next to a woods. I don¡¯t have it but it was better than an artist or a photo, even if you could find the setting.

Is ChatGPT an app? In MacOS or iOS. I¡¯ve heard of it and seen it referenced many times but am not sure how it is used or what it does. Harry On Dec 5, 2023, at 7:55 PM, John Robinson via groups.io <profilecovenant@...> wrote: |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHarry,I¡¯ve yet to read how or what Apple is going to do to incorporate AI into their software¡I¡¯m sure we will love it. I¡¯ve used ChatGPT twice and have been blown away with what it can do. ?I can foresee many career employment opportunities going to the wind. The most amazing test was when I ask it to write the code to take data from a table in FileMaker and move it to Excel. ?I ask it to write the code to do this. Unlike a text question, which fills in before I get my had off the enter key, this time a blank screen just sat there¡I thought I had stumped it. Finally the results filled the screen, telling me what software to use and code to get it done. ?I haven¡¯t tried as this old machine is lacking in the latest OS and related programs. John

I watched the Apple presentation on the new MacBook Pro and AI was mentioned but I don¡¯t remember in what context. Harry On Dec 5, 2023, at 6:29 PM, John Robinson via groups.io <profilecovenant@...> wrote: |
Apple vs Microsoft
Johnathan,
It¡¯s great to see Apple cross the fence again, what bothers me is the interest in Microsoft. Cloud services and now AI is a torch igniting the stock. Apple had focused on Augmented Reality & now I read they are concentrating on catching up with AI. Let¡¯s hope, Apple always does it right. You can see from the market Cap they are very close, also note the volume in Apple is more than twice that of Microsoft. John |
AAPL does it again
Apple stock closed at a value that placed its market capitalization above $3 Trillion today.
Apple is the only company to ever do that, and (by my count) this is the 4th time they have done it. No one would fault you for taking some profit on your Apple shares now. Those of you who sold theirs years ago (including myself) are going to have to go to bed without dinner. ::-( Jonathan -- Jonathan Fletcher Workplace Innovation Facilitator jonathan@...
