Harry, Sounds like you have a MacOloompa messing with your Mac? What Mac do you have and what macOS are you running? Have you done FirstAid on the disk?

I have a recent Macbook Pro. I back up with time machine to an external ssd drive. I never shut the computer down and often, when I wake the computer up, I get a message that my external drive was improperly ejected even though I hadn¡¯t removed the drive from the computer and the drive shows up on the desktop.
Anyone know what¡¯s going on.
