It¡¯s taken longer to recover the deleted files than it took to build the Titanic. ?Of course once the weeks of Discovery were done (the second time) I was informed the amount of data required the Pro version, so cough up just over $95.00 then there were days of SAVING the recovered files to the hard drive. ?
Now that it¡¯s all complete I¡¯ve copied all the external drives and can now format the internal drives. ?
There are thousands of files that I have no idea what they are but most everything I had on the drive seems to have been recovered.
It¡¯s faster for most of you as this older machine was most of the problem.
If you ever need a great recovery program Cleverfiles, DiskDrill is pretty slick.

The disk wasn¡¯t partitions so I don¡¯t understand but O.K. lets go ahead and do the second scan, that was going to be close to 5 days.
If it¡¯s a boot disk, there¡¯s always a hidden partition containing the system and recovery stuff. It¡¯s probably not worth the effort to resurrect the files contained there.
