Re: Streaming services from my iPad

If I got an Apple TV or a Roku would I be able to watch on the TV? I think that¡¯s what they do, right?

They lock the video on streaming apps so you can not do that.

?I am trying to stream from my iPad to my TV. There is a show on Peacock I want to see.I have connected and HDMI cable to my TV and I have the dongle that plugs into my iPad and the HDMI cable and a power cord plug into the dongle.

However when I start the show on the iPad the sound goes to the TV but the picture does not.On the iPad it indicates I am connected by AirPlay but I am not sure what that means.

I am not a premium subscriber to Peacock - would that make a difference?

Is the show not showing up on the TV a feature of Peacock or is there some setting in the iPad that is not turned on (or is turned off) that is preventing the show from peacock showing up on the TV?

TIA
