The info is in the path bar not the status bar and both are turned on.?
I just checked my wife¡¯s time machine folder and the info is there. It is the info below the path that¡¯s missing. Here is a screen shot from my wife¡¯s computer.

You probably just need to turn on the status bar for that drive, Harry. Go to the drive in a Finder window and select View=>Show Status Bar from the Finder menus.
