I also have a MacBook Air with this configuration

More and more frequently when I backopen a NeoOffice docuement on the iMac it shows up like this:

I drag the document to the Preview up and while it doesn’t open in Preview it changes the document back to normal when I open it up in NeoOffice. It does it with spreadsheet documents, drawing documents, text documents and .doc documents.

On the MacBook Air it doesn’t happen. I should add the documents are stored in Dropbox. It doesn’t seem to do it with documents stored in iCloud.

Why does the happen and how do I prevent it from happening?
