Re: 4 foot loop antenna and other antenna projects.
I don't know - I have never seen it at our local electronics
houses. Why don't you give it a try and see how it works? I would
be interested in the results. Of course it would give my calculator

Bruce, how about flat ribbon copper?
I know that it's available in rolls of one inch,
and four inch,widths (in 50 & 100 foot lengths)
since that's what you would use to ground

Re: 4 foot loop antenna and other antenna projects.
It looks like nobody else is taking this one, so I will. My first
loop project was a 4 foot - and it has quite a history. I started
with a five foot spiral wound, but had no idea as to the

Ha, ha! Yes, young students don't believe in much of what us oldies try to tell them what once was. I have nothing against American technology or opinion and use an aweful lot of it myself as it is

Mobius Connected and Counterwound Loops
Gents,
I have added a new URL to the Links page. It points to an article
that describes the advantage of mobius connecting a multiturn loop
and also describes counterwound balanced ferrite bar

Michael,
I'm thankful Australians feel so little need to copy our technology.

Try that one.
Very nice! Hey, I wonder if you could use a servo to tune the loop
remotely. Or one of those surplus motor driven

new page with absolutely excellent instructions for building an HF

Snarff! The formatting seems to have messed up the link in my last

I just ran across a page with some nice illustrations, photos and
plans for MW/LW loops. I hadn't seen this one before. The

Steve,
I haven't contacted him about the DFD2 not working yet. I really
should though since the counter worked fairly well during the time it
was working. Not as well as my Oak Hills DD-1 but

sticking up as I can't just toss it in a case and into my

Very nice, from 1nH to 150mH, and .01pF to 1.5uF. Has an internal
