Bruce, how about flat ribbon copper?
I know that it's available in rolls of one inch,
and four inch,widths (in 50 & 100 foot lengths)
since that's what you would use to ground
Polyphaser surge suppressors.
They (Polyphaser)vsuggest that it has "more
surface area than round wire, or braid.
"Lightening travels over the surface of a conductor...
as do radio waves. I wonder if this could be better
than multiple ROUND wire ribbon cable.
On the other hand, if a suitable diameter is
available, it probably wouldn't be insulated
in any way.
I don't know - I have never seen it at our local electronics
houses. Why don't you give it a try and see how it works? I would
be interested in the results. Of course it would give my calculator
a fit because the conductors have length and width and not a radius.
