I recently built the PA0FRI active loop receiving antenna for HF
(shortwave) use. The reception results have been highly impressive,
especially considering the extremely constrained space where the
antenna is installed.

Total cost: Roughly 10 dollars (including professional PCB, BOM, IP65
casing, aluminum loop and all).
