But, many times these Zener diodes (a.k.a. noise generators) are used as voltage regulators for LNA discrete devices.? There, it matters.? However, these days, usually active voltage regulators are used for the purpose.? How do these active regulators compare to the "old" Zener diode regulator.
ADDENDUM:? Yes, Zener diodes make wonderful RF BB noise generators.? Too bad the noise output is not linear with frequency.?
