A shortened vertical will do much better and far easier to construct. ?
I have alluded to this before: I actually use a 1/4 WL circumference tuned loop on 160 meters (110 ft circumference) with good results, on both the digital subbands AND on voice (SSB) talking across the US when conditions at night give all that opportunity. Several years ago I would regularly check into the 1900 kHz evening net in the Midwest from Texas, and also into to the 1995 kHz 160m weather net as well, using this 1/4 WL cir. tuned loop located in my small city lot back yard.?

This 1/4 WL circumference 160m vert rectangular loop turns out to be 16 ft vert by 40 ft horizontal, suspended by 6 of those 4 ft fiberglass mil tent poles on each end.

I had considered a helical vertical, but I'm glad I did not; one local individual tried that approach and did not have near as strong an on-air signal as I did. We have also tested the 1/4 WL cir. loop against a T-top loaded vertical driven against ground, and the 1/4 WL cir loop was 3 dB stronger on groundwave from the same station who then erected a similar 1/4 WL cir tuned loop for comparison purposes.

So there is that.
