I have successfully connected my radio to FLRIG, when I go to WSJTX and select the rig as FLRIG I am able to get the cat connected, but when I test PTT it does not trigger my radio. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is FLrig using cat or RTS/DTR style ptt ?
If RTS ptt is doable you can set that direct in wsjtx ptt section
without affecting FLrig interface.

The developers may need to look at the wsjtx cat <> cat
FLrig coding, does FLrig ptt work direct from FLrig ?
To get going on wsjtx in the meantime, you could use vox.

Also if you have HRD in windows, it also runs very well in linux
under wine/bottle/crossover etc, and works great with linux wsjtx.
I use it here with a FT-897D that I had issue with other methods
incl flrig on Debian. Mainly when using rig split.
I think your radio use's IC-7300 cat code. As I said if you setup
radio vox, and set wsjtx ptt to vox (which means wsjtx does
nothing for ptt and leavces it to the vox device),
Then it should work fine. I use the same method vox with my
Elecraft KX3 on wsjtx for reliability.
