RT100/RC100 ISSUE 20
A few months ago I purchased the RT100/RC100 combination. I had been using it relatively successfully when it began acting erratic. Turns out that there was water getting inside the housing. Sure enough, when I opened and inspected the internals, I found sever areas that were contaminated with a blue/green corrosion. I attempted to clean up these areas. After getting them clean, the tuner no longer functions. Do the question here becomes, what to do with it? Dave Robinson KB7GP

Z-11Pro II power capability in bypass mode? 2
Do the power limitations apply while the tuner is in bypass mode? Is the 6m 50W limitation for PSK & Digital modes? Or is it for all modes? I wish the manual was more clear on this, especially when the value is so critical.

RT-100 in ATAS mode 3
I gather the tuner is supposed to automatically attempt tuning whenever the SWR is above 1.7. So why do you need to push PTT, up et c. in ATAS mode? Shouldn't ATAS just provide DC power? May I simply transmit at low power to trigger the tuning?

Why do I have to continually retune my radio? 27
I noticed this weekend when I was changing bands or frequencies on a band that my SWR would go up, even though the day before (or earlier on the same day), I had tuned my rig/antenna. I use the LDG AT-100ProII autotuner When using SSB, I wind up setting fldigi to AM to get a carrier and hit the tune button. What I don't understand is why I seem to have to do this with every band switch (or move up/down the band). Is there a solution to this? 73, Ken KN2D

z-11 Pro firmware 8
Hi all, I have a problem with this ATU that stopped working well during a 70 cm band qso with the Yaesu FT-757D which is known to have isolation problems between the UHF and HF ranges causing false starts of the tuning procedure. Particularly it stopped working the manual activation of the tuning using the Tune button however it worked normally going on transmission on the various freq ranges perhaps going first to AM to safeguard the relays. Today I tried downloading the firmware from the PIC ROM to try reloading it but I corrupted the file and nothing worked anymore. The firmware version is 15 but trying to reload the 13 available here among the obsolete files the program starts and the keys work but it does not tune automatically even going on transmission. Would you have any suggestions on this? T hank you 73' Marco IZ0MFI

Serial Data issue on PIC METERTX METERRX 7
Hello, For years I have been using a software program called LDG Tuner Control, to interface my AT-1000ProII Autotuner (https://github.com/Efpophis/LDGControl) with my PC by using the meter jack at the back of the tuner, but I lost the capability recently either due to a software or hardware failure. At first I changed my USB to serial interface used to control the tuner. Then verified the computer sends the commands to the tuner using a serial sniffer, but noticed the tuner does not respond. The tuner works just fine otherwise, it just does not give a power readout and the ability to remote control it. Looking at the schematic, the METERTX and METERRX lines used for communication between the PC and the tuner, go to the PIC directly (photo attached). Is it possible that by chance, those pins got fried, without the rest of the chip being affected? If so is it possible to burn a new PIC to test it out? My label says ver1.7? I have seen a hex dump available in the file section named at1000pro2520_112312.hex Does that work for my version? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. 73, Relu NJ9R

at600proii ft1000mp mark v and tube amp 2
Hello I just bought the AT600proii to make using my vintage amp a little easier. I have figured out how to connect it to my ft1200 and use the tune button but can't find anything about the Mark V field. I think it would plug into REMOTE Jack (2) but want to be sure. Thanks john NM2R

The smoke got out.... 3
Well, it happens I guess :-) I've an extremely burnt capacitor in my AT-1000 ProII. I've been looking around for a schematic, but can't seem to come up with anything. I'd be grateful is anyone can help with a schematic or the values of the capacitors in positions C7A to C7E. Thanks folks! 73 de W8RIH Best Regards, TFM tfm@...

RT/RC600 2
My RT600 tuner has stopped working. The bias Tee is ok. The red light on the tuner circuit board flashes when the power is turned on and then goes off. When powered up, one of the relays used to pick up but it does not do that now. Does anyone have a schematic for it and firmware for the 18F25 PIC processor? How close is the RT100 schematic to the RT600? Tim AA6DQ

SWR led mark very High but no real measure. AT1000Proii 12
Hi, I have had an LDG AT 1000Proii for a while now and it has always worked fine for me, if I don't look at the SRW LED indicators. As the Power marks it correctly, the SWR is always marking 3 and over. it's the same if the antenna is tuned and the device is in Bypass, as if I adjusted it, which it does correctly. I have meters on the radio, on the amp and a Bird on the antenna output. they all mark the identical swr, except the LDG which marks infinite or very high. What is the solution? Many thanks EB3AM, Jordi from Catalonia.

Z-11Pro II updated manual? 27
I've had my Z-11Pro II for quite some time now, however.... I have been unable to find an updated manual for the new firmware. The manual in the files section as well as the one included with my tuner is the old one. The LED displays are not the same and while I try to read between the lines, I'm never sure I actually know what settings I have selected. Does anyone have an updated manual? I sent an email to LDG but it was never replied to. And going back in time, I do recall exchanging emails with them and they confirmed it's new firmware and that the LED indicator patterns had changed but at the time, they had not updated the manual.

Z100 Plus Bypass - Will it pass VHF/UHF?
Hello, Using a Z100 Plus Radio and setting up a go box with the IC-705. If I put the Z100 Plus in Bypass, will it pass the VHF/UHF Frequencies. I was hoping to have a switch to go between the antennas if the Bypass feature allows the higher freqs to pass. Thanks, Burt KB4P

Z-100PLUS Stopped!!
Hi all, Re-arranged stuff and when I got the Z100 re-attached; nothing. No LED's or anything. Been using it for a number of months with the FT-891 and no problem at all. Has 13VDC at the "inside" connector so who knows!! Ken, W2GIW

LDG Z-11ProII power ratings? 4
My tuner, firmware ver 1.3, bought in October 2024 from HRO came with the "MANUAL REV B" with the following specifications: ".1 to 125W SSB and CW peak power, 30W watts on PSK and digital modes, and 100 watts on 6 meters" The website "Specs" and "MANUAL REV C" give the following specifications: Transmit Power Limits: SSB: .1 to 125 watts SSB; CW: 100 watts; FT-8: 75 watts; PSK and digital modes: 50 watts; 6 meters: 50 watts. So how do I know what the maximum power capability is on my tuner? Are there different revisions of the Z-11ProII with different power capabilities? Or are those just revisions of the manual?

LDG Z11 Pro II with Icom 705 6
Sorry if this question has been posed but i couldn't find an answer. I'd like to bough an Z11 Pro II tuner for my Icom 705. The AH 705 is very expensive and support only 10 Watt. The Z11 Pro II could also be used on other more powerful RTXs. I've read that there is no problem to use it using the "Tune Button" on the LDG but i wonder if anyone has had a chance to try it using a standard 3.5mm TRS cable so as to take advantage of the Tune button function on the Icom 705. I have read different opinions and so I was wondering if anyone has actually tried using the Z11 Pro II with the Icom 705 using the TRS stereo cable (I intend in the real world non "in theory") Thank you in advance. 73, IZ4MJP Franco

z, kt, it-100tuners use with any radio 10
Good day, z, kt, it-100tuners use with any radio Has anyone use these tuners with an older radio with no tuner interface? Talked with LDG they said, "we have not tested these with it's unintended radio". I'm sure that comment is to avoid litigation, which is ok with me. Is it more than a DC connection? Or will they work with just the tune auto button? Thanks, James w0jrn

RT-100 OBSERVATION(S) AND QUESTION(S) 9
At the end of last year, I received an RT-100/RC-100 as a gift. I just finally installed it on my horizontal wire dipole about 170 feet in length. Feeding this wire with 30 feet of RG-8X. The tuner is connected to the shack via about 150 feet of LMR400DB. During the auto-tuning process, I see the SWR value rising and falling as I would expect while the RT-100 is finding a solution. During this process I see the SWR hitting very low values, well under 1.5:1. What is confusing is when a solution is finally "locked in", typically it will land at anywhere from 2:1 to 5:1 instead of the lowest point scanned. Then when I re-key the radio, the tuning process begins again. Now, in many cases, I have the radio set at 100W. The fold back due to SWR drops the power to the neighborhood of 20-40W until a tuning solution is achieved. Using the ideal/proper tuning power of 10-30W, I can manually activate a re-tuning of the RT the tuner will find the lowest solution but when I resume the 100W setting, the tuner will often restart the tuning process. My solution for this is to turn off the power at the RC-100 so the tuner will remain at the solution. This somewhat removes the convenience of the auto-tuner idea for changing bands/frequencies. The question, is this normal operation for this tuner or should I look for some issue? I have used the tuner on my vertical antenna (GAP) and my horizontal wire (dipole) with the same functional results.

LDG AT-100Pro2 to FT-710 Interface Cable 13
Friends. Looking for the correct LDG interface cable to run the AT-100/200/600/1000 Pro2 series tuners with the Yaesu FT-710 series radios. Tuner plug on the back of the radio is a din plug and a stereo plug on the back of the tuner. Y-ACC cable is out, wrong radio plug. Maybe the Y-AAC2? Or is there one that goes into the linear port?
