For ic-7000: I need to have the tuner select the correct memory automatically when I change bands
I have run the LDG Z100plus tuner for 7 years with the IC7000 mobile.? The tuner reads the frequency by RF.? Every band change or frequency changed out of the memory channel saved will prompt the radio to quickly send the tune signal to the tuner the moment you touch the PTT on the mic.? It will only quickly switch to that memory and not do a full tune once the memory has been saved.? If a memory has not been saved and the tuner sees a need to tune, it will do a full tune cycle and save it in the memory.??

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIC-7000.? I -=THINK=- I have a tuner here in a box somewhere, an LDG-7000?? It was made to work with the IC-7000.? The IC-706 has the same tuner interface, and this ¡°7000¡± (if that is the right number) was used for a short time, a WW-II veteran was stuck in an assisted living center, no antennas allowed.? We got a piece of Stealth Wire out the window and into a tree.? The head of grounds maintenance saw it, but he was a Viet Nam vet and gave the wire approval. ? ? ? Vy73? ¨C? Mike? ¨C? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýFound a photo of it.? The IC-706 Mk-IIg radio face was hung from under the top shelf.? The IC-706 Mk-IIg main chassis and the LDG tuner was up above the shelf just above the face.? And the Power supply was to the left on the shelf.? It was a couple of months after we got it working that he died.? IIRC, it had a 4-wire control cable and was controlled by the TUNE function of the radio. ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Mike Olbrisch
