Z-11Pro II power capability in bypass mode?
Do the power limitations apply while the tuner is in bypass mode? Is the 6m 50W limitation for PSK & Digital modes? Or is it for all modes? I wish the manual was more clear on this, especially when

Re: RT-100 in ATAS mode
The radio, when in ATAS tuner mode supplies voltage through the coax to the antenna tuning circuits. When the ATAS sees a voltage of +12 VDC on the coax it will extend the antenna and when it sees a

Re: RT-100 in ATAS mode
No, you need to press the PTT and the UP button, ATAS mode simply provides power to the RT-100, nothing else, if you want auto tuning then you need an auto tuner. How do I know, I own both the RT-100

RT-100 in ATAS mode
I gather the tuner is supposed to automatically attempt tuning whenever the SWR is above 1.7. So why do you need to push PTT, up et c. in ATAS mode? Shouldn't ?ATAS just provide DC power? May I

Re: Why do I have to continually retune my radio?
My SWR became unstable some time after I made some changes including replacing a short RG-8X jumper between the tuner and a balun, both inside a fake rock at the base of my off center fed flagpole

My squirrels stayed off my lines as they are 40¡¯ or more in the air. And on the poles below the feedline connection, I bought those squirrel metal spike shield guards as one uses for bird feeders.

Re: Why do I have to continually retune my radio?
I have an LDG AT-200Pro II ATU. IMO, a great ATU. Anyway... if needing to retune, based on my experiences, this normally indicates either a coax problem, a connection problem or an antenna problem.

Open the case, look at the processor chip. I just bought mine recently and it has a label with "FW 1.3" on the chip. Hope that helps you. Dave, KJ7WUZ On Wed, Apr 9, 2025 at 11:32, Paul via

Re: Why do I have to continually retune my radio?
A trick for isolating the problem. Using a SWR meter. Without the tuner at 25W take a direct reading btwn the radio and antenna. Reconnect the tuner in direct, not tuning mode and do the same. If

Thanks as that saved me the trouble of responding. Both tuners on cause problems, but I suspect that also a coax connector is faulty. I have dummy loads on each of my antenna switches or tuners ports
