Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
Hi, I have been studying the AT1000 manual and this forum prior to a possible purchase and venture to suggest that the yaesu 8pin tuner ports do not seem to have the ¡±tx req¡± needed to allow

Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
The Y-ACC-2 cable is intended to go into the Linear port on the FXdx10, which is 10 pin. I would think using the same-named pins on the 8-pin tuner port would work, but I haven¡¯t tried. ?If you can

Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
Hi Jeff, I am setting up a new FTDX10. Tuner cables are unavailable/backordered, so I thought I would simply make my own. Ten pin DIN¡¯s are also hard to find at decent prices. Just as I was ready to

Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
Hello - it's me again... I went back through the Yaesu documentation and found that the tuner port is actually an 8-pin Mini-DIN on the FT-DX10. The documentation for the Y-ACC-2 cable shows a 10-pin

Ah ha! That was going to be my next question! I was looking around for the cable and it appears to be on back order everywhere I checked. I have a spare 8 pin connector and a TRS connector. Seems easy

Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
Jeff, Yes, the Y-ACC-2 is the right cable according to the DXEngineering website which also states: "FTDX10 ??? Z-11ProII ??? Connects to transceiver TUNER port, enabled in menu: Operation,

Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
Hello, I bit the bullet this past weekend and bought the FTDX10. I forgot to pick up the adapter cable for my Z11 Pro 2 tuner. I¡¯ve been searching the message archive. I saw mention of the Y-ACC-2

Re: How to remove the LDG-IC-PAC cable from an ICOM 7300
I ended up using a flathead screw driver to lift the tabs on the plastic adapter on the LDG cable. Once I was able to disconnect it, I used a small set of diagonal cutters to trim out some of the

Re: correct cable for FDX3000

Re: correct cable for FDX3000
Steve, are you by any chance using the ARB-704 interface? I have an old AL-811 amp that I bought from a local guy who upgraded. I said the Y-ACC-3 uses the Cat control? DB9 in error, the pin out in

Re: correct cable for FDX3000
Carey; I have exactly the same setup, with an AT600ProII, and FTdx3000, and an amplifier. The Y-ACC-3 will do exactly what it says it will do; drive a radio tune cycle (CW, key-down, 5 watts output)

Re: RU-49:1 Any plans to bring it back ?
I don't think the tuner is finding good settings in full auto. Manual says that for a full tune SWR must be over whatever is set. My tuner will not go lower than 1.7, yet 1.1 SWR is on the scale. How
