My take would be the tuner can¡¯t tune the load. Did you accidentally change the antenna selector on the tuner? What happens if you set the 7000 on CW at low power, key it, and hit the tune button on

Thanks for the proposal! I had similar thought, since the LDG has 1MOhm pull-up resistor before the comparator, but the simple dummy-tuning schematics (like I attached in my previous reply) operate
