Re: AT200 Pro (not II) Firmware version ?
I guess they figured it out and I just got an email from them that they opened a ticket ... will have to see what happens. It's amazing how many companies that are Ham related are so proactive with customer service. I had an experience with Alpha Delta also where they went above and beyond. KUDO's to LDG!? |

I guess LDG is monitoring this list , but they replied to me, not you ( kd2u ) Dave Garber VE3WEJ / VE3IE On Fri, Aug 16, 2024 at 6:18?AM Tom - KD2U/4 via <kd2u.tom=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: AT200 Pro (not II) Firmware version ?
I am not sure, but would the manuals for each non pro II and the pro II show what features are available, ( or missing) from the other version. no info off the ldg website or support? Dave Garber VE3WEJ / VE3IE On Sat, Aug 10, 2024 at 9:38?PM Tom - KD2U/4 via <kd2u=[email protected]> wrote:

AT200 Pro (not II) Firmware version ?
Sadly the group search button has not yielded much info.
?
I recently purchased a used AT200 Pro (not II) and am curious about the firmware vs the last version released. My unit has 200M11 on the main board PIC and 200F11 on the front panel board PIC. My question before I engage with LDG, assuming they still do the PIC exchange. is there a newer version and if so is there any real benefit to updating my unit,? |
Re: LDG Z100A - definition of the green and blue control wires?
Not sure but I would hazard a guess it is the firmware change to take out the remote operation capability.

Re: LDG Z100A - definition of the green and blue control wires?
the green wire does show in the manual as a ground wire,? ?I wonder if the red wire is for power, but not a factory cable Dave Garber VE3WEJ / VE3IE On Tue, Jul 30, 2024 at 7:26?PM David Feldman via <wb0gaz=[email protected]> wrote: Sorry of this is repeat of a prior question, but a friend picked up a Z100A (which appears to have included most/all of the optional cable variants; it was an estate item). Re: AT-600ProII settings
It shouldn't. Hi/LoZ is related to the antenna's impedance. This in turn place the parallel capacitors either before or after the series inductor. This is a basic characteristic of an L-match type of tuner (CpLs in this tuner).
A lower impedance puts the capacitor on the input side, higher Z, on the output side.
This probably happens automatically when auto-tuned.? Maybe a away to tell which arrangement is being used.

LDG Z100A - definition of the green and blue control wires?
Sorry of this is repeat of a prior question, but a friend picked up a Z100A (which appears to have included most/all of the optional cable variants; it was an estate item). I've looked at the LDG online manual/documentation (such as it is), but I can't find a clear statement of the role of START and KEY (blue and green wire) signals (for the use case of "any other kind of radio" without integrated control operation.)
If you know the definition of the two signals (or where to look for same), would you care to pass that along? Thanks very much, Dave |

LDG is one of those rare companies that stands behind their product 100%, I couldn't be happier with them. The 1000 was my second LDG tuner.
