I see an antenna issue, separate from the tuner, but it should help tuning when the Z-11 wakes up.

With the 29' wire, you need a 9:1 unun between the feedline and the 29' wire.? I found 50' wire is a problem, and use a 20m/66' coax.
?
A 1:1 choke is recommended at the output of the tuner.

I have made over 11,000 POTA Qs with this antenna, a 7100, and a Z-100Plus.

Just got this ATU to pair with IC-7300, a random wire (currently 29') and the 1:1 unun.
?
I'm struggling with the ATU a bit and was hoping someone with 7300 experience might be able to direct me.
?
Per 7300 manual, the internal tuner should be off.? I haven't been able to get the Z-11 to automatically tune for me (I've checked that it's in Automatic Tuning Mode), I press its Tune button, it then tunes and the TUNE light on my 7300 comes on.? If I turn it off, I sometimes completely lose reception.

If TUNE can be on, can I use the TUNER button and hold for one sec like I do when using the internal tuner?
Any idea why it won't auto tune?? I've used PTT, TRANSMIT button the 7300 front....nothing seems to work.
