Re: LDG AT-1000ProII Autotuner to Yaesu FTDX101D

Many people say that you can¡¯t interface the 101 with a Non Yaesu Tuner via its Tuner mini DIN Socket as Yaesu have used a different method of triggering a tune cycle on the Yaesu Tuners. ?I did have my AT-600PRO working using the tune button on the AT600PRO switching the 101 to TX mode. This was using a pre wired cable which used the D shape Linear port on the 101which was fine for running my 101mp with up to 200 watts. ?The cable came from Technofix UK on eBay. ?I purchased it made because I struggle to see to solder this D Type connectors. ?I¡¯m guessing that as you have the AT1000PRO, you want to drive a Linear amplifier with your 101-D. ?I am now using a Acom 700 amplifier with my FTDX101MP and have connected that to the Linear port so the Acom can use BSD automatic band switching as I figured this was more important. ?Unfortunately this means that I have had to go back to operating my AT-600PRO manually. ?I have set my 101MP am transmit to limit to 10 watts so I key it up with a foot switch to allow me to initiate tuning on AT600PRO.
