SR. CATEGORY MANAGER - INDIRECT - Virtual Position - Our client, a rapidly growing east coast capital equipment manufacturer, seeks experienced Indirect Category Manager with an emphasis on logistics and distribution. This position will manage a small staff that will expand over time. Compensation includes an excellent salary + benefits + bonus.

Requirements:

·??? Bachelor’s degree.

·??? Minimum 4 years Indirect procurement experience.

·??? Both tactical and strategic experience in procurement process creation and implementation.

·??? Working knowledge of Logistics procurement (i.e. Trucking, Container, Freight).?International experience a big plus.

·??? Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.

·??? Experience managing vendors using MRP and ERP.

·??? Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

·??? Excellent communications skills plus ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
