We have been retained by a well-established investor and leader in the alternative residential real estate investment space to find an Asset Manager in Phoenix, AZ. On behalf of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, and global financial institutions, the firm has invested over $15 Billion in equity and debt real estate opportunities. The firm invests in established real estate platforms and also provides venture capital to companies that invest in the future of the real estate industry.?

ROLE

This role will work with the company¡¯s founders/partners to ensure execution of all stated financial and operational goals for the firm¡¯s SFR, student housing and group housing portfolios, as well as other strategies as they are developed. This will include coordinating the company¡¯s accounting, reporting, construction and financing functions to oversee all property management, leasing, operational budgeting, and capital projects for the portfolio as well as leading reporting and industry best practice identification initiatives. ?

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; Master's degree a plus.
  • 3 to 7 years of real estate, finance, and analysis and asset management experience.
  • Senior leadership experience involving top-level strategic planning, project management and business development.
  • Knowledge of the residential investment industry trends, best practices, rules and regulations. Knowledge of the PropTech industry a plus, but not required.
  • High level knowledge of physical real estate leasing, operating systems and maintenance.
  • Strong experience with financial modeling, including detailed property-level financial statement analysis, lease management, and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Ability to learn company-specific, proprietary programming applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word is required.
  • Ability to hold confidential all information that is proprietary to the management of the company, subsidiaries, affiliates and investors.
  • Highly organized, extremely proactive and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask and communicate effectively.?
