Re: 2017 lagoon reefing system
I stitch the end of the new line to the end of the old line with some whipping twine, then wrap a bit of electrical tape around to make it run smooth, then pull new line in with old line same as you

Re: 2017 lagoon reefing system
Hi Paul how did you get the new reefing lines through the boom? Do the lines in the boom simply run from front to back, or is there still a redirection in the boom (like the the Selden

Re: 2017 lagoon reefing system
We pull the lines in every time on our 2016 Lagoon 52, Summer Kai. It takes us about 3-4 minutes to get the main down as we have to bring the halyard down some and the pull the reefing lines. It¡¯s

Re: 2017 lagoon reefing system
As PaulinOz said! DO not haul in the reefing lines, just arrange them as neatky as feasible inside the lazy pack after mainsail is down. Otherwise, you will also have difficulties railing the mainsail

Re: 2017 lagoon reefing system
The only time I pull in the reefing lines is if I am putting a reef in. Just tuck the overhang at the back into the sail bag when zipping it up. Also swapped out 14mm 1st and 2nd reef line for 12mm

2017 lagoon reefing system
Has anyone out there resolved the reefing line dragissues when dropping your main. ?Is there a better method than just hauling them in as another slowly lowers the main. not doing this leaves a mess

Factory electrical problem
Hi, My 450 is now 5 years old and it has been a great boat. It is a 230V/50Hz ship and I have wired my own LPG safety system into the boat and have therefore not used SG1 power from the 'spare' switch

Re: Special tool to open inspection port on water tanks?
I had some PM's asking for some additional information on this tool. ?I purchased a metal 8" cleat and milled down (you could grind it) the foot so it was 11/16" wide.

Re: mounting tv in lagoon 380
We mounted our 32" TV using a standard TV wall bracket, mounted to the fibreglass vertical uprights between the window's in the main salon. Very secure and no issues once we are under way.
