Re: Removing the white tint
There have been posts on the facebook Lagoon owners page of the windows popping out underway. One suggested cause is UV exposure to the glue without the decal. We had adhesive vinyl borders cut by a

I believe it is BBB chain. I replaced it with 7/16¡± G4, lighter than the 1/2¡± (really 12mm) chain but stronger so we were able get get 300¡¯ of chain for about the same weight and no need to

Re: [LagoonOwners] Re: Kevlar backing plates
Yep, that's him. What I realized is I don't have enough and I can foresee the ones I don't reinforce ripping out so I haven't installed any yet. I feel like a dear looking at the headlights

Re: [LagoonOwners] Re: Facnor LS200 furler problems?
Yep, this is exactly how I attached my block, using a dyneema soft shackle. Only mine is on port side on L400.

Re: Facnor LS200 furler problems?
Yes, this is definitely the case. The only way I can think to change the angle is attach a block to a stanchion. I'm also considering smaller line to load the drum less. Lots of good advice in

Re: Facnor LS200 furler problems?
I would love to see a pic of this. Did you attach the block to a stanchion? I do think this is related to the angle of the line, and perhaps also the line size. A smaller line might leave more room on

Re: Facnor LS200 furler problems?
Great idea on the smaller line. I do think this is related to the drum becoming full loaded.

Re: [LagoonOwners] Re: Facnor LS200 furler problems?
I had the same issue on my L400 with a slight downward angle made worse if tension was not maintained. I added a block midway between the furler and the port bow that slightly raised the angle, fixing

Re: [LagoonOwners] Re: Main sail outhaul
I had a similar lashing on my L400 made of Velcro webbing. The sun ate it and I was lucky to discover it had about worn through, just 2-3 mm left. I replaced it with a spectra/dyneema strop looped

I'm not sure exactly where to put this as I've been offshore but, but my L400 mainsail was secured to the aft-most of three eyes on the top of the boom. They seem to be designed for lateral loads, so
