Wow, what a beast ! I have 76m2 gennaker on furler that can furl from cockpit. Never issue with furling, but is 1/2 size of your spi.
Do you find furling to be satisfactory ?
Plan to have sock for spi, so i can release in emergency, via dyneema rope to cockpit, and then douse.?
Do you find your spi valuable for passage making?
