After a lightning strike on the mast of a nearby boat in our marina, the charge propagated and caused damage to several nearby boats, some severe.? When I returned to my boat, I found damage including the starboard aft Gulper shower sump pump was running continuously with no water in the sump.? I disconnected the red lead from the shower pump relay referenced above to turn off the sump pump (Scheiber Ref. 36.16112.00).? I am thinking the shower relay was damaged by stray current and I must replace it.? I cannot find it in the Beneteau catalog, but I found it elsewhere online for $119.? Please, before I experiment by replacing this relay, does someone have a better idea???
