Not sure about paint back here in the US, but I used PropSpeed on my saildrives and props- it¡¯s amazing for 12 months, great for 18, then good for 24, then almost worthless after. But that was while cruising full time. Not sure how well it works sitting in the marina. The slippery silicone-like finish requires a little gentle tlc / kid gloves to keep it working...

After almost 2 years from launch its time to haul and bottom paint. ?I'm west coast US, so they don't really like copper paint. ?In fact the marinas will give priority to boats looking for slips if they don't have copper. ?

Honestly, I am more concerned with getting the best value out it. ?Im ok with spending more now, if I can get extra time out of the application. ?There seems like there are a few new types coming out. ?Has anyone tried them? ?What is your current preference on brand? ?Also, what are you using for props and sail drives?
