¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIf this is a project you want to be once-and-done with, try looking for aircraft grade springs instead of your standard hardware junk ;-)Related: we had an employee crash his plane - while taxiing - because someone had replaced a rudder return spring with a hardware store variety. Spring failed, pedal would not lift, and he just kept turning right into a closed hanger. Propellor chewed thru doors and he stopped moving when the wings hit the doors¡ which was REALLY fortunate as the hangar held a collection of restored Corvettes so that¡¯s when I learned that true ¡°aircraft grade¡± truly means a MUCH higher quality. -Rob
