Linda, so good to hear from you.

You are the first person outside of pre-readers, etc. to have read the book through to the end¡ªand liked the humor. I¡¯m so happy to hear your comments. How did you get the word? I asked Sally for your email. If you think Rita would like a copy, I would send her one gratis. It¡¯s a Ruggieri legacy from me - sounds presumptuous, but I feel even if they don¡¯t like the book, the Ruggieri name is on it.

It is fiction, but I guess I didn¡¯t disguise Kennett very well. I still brag about growing up there, the Kennett Consolidated School and the education I got there, etc. And, the people. Amy and I visited about three years ago, and she couldn¡¯t get over how nice everyone was - even the young priest. No scary Father Craine.

How¡¯s your family? Everyone healthy and happy?

At this very second, all¡¯s well with my daughters and their families. We need Lonie to have another reunion (whom I miss a lot), but I hope I get to see you on one my infrequent trips to Kennett.

Thrilled you wrote. Love, Elaine

Just to let you know that I've read your book and enjoyed it very much.? A couple of the "characters" were so recognizable that I laughed out loud a couple of times.? And, of course, your description of Penn Square was spot on.? ?Congratulations and I look forward to the sequel when Francie makes that trip to Rome!
