Ever since Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris I¡¯ve been thinking a lot about Aunt Lonie and Uncle Eapen and how thrilled they would be.?
Kamala¡¯s Mom is from the state adjacent (just north) to Eapen¡¯s state of Kerala. Her mom came over to study in the US in 1958 (the year of my birth - cuz everything is all about me lol).?
If my memory?serves me right, Eapen came over in 1968 to study English. It served him well as went on to teach English to university students.?
I can only imagine how proud he would be right now and I¡¯d love to sit and listen to him express his happiness.?
I miss them both?so much.?
