Just remembered something else. Uncle Frank was a huge fan of the old Charle Chan movies. Charlie was a Chinese detective who had 9 children and he always referred to them as #1, #2, etc. I guess that's where Frank started calling his sons 1, 2, and 3. Sometimes an old Charlie Chan movie is on TV and I watch.
