Performa is weekly workshop to plant the seeds of your next creative vision. Spend time dancing inside of your research as you create highly personal, dynamic new performances with support. It’s a safe place to grow your creative approach and take risks with in shared community:?

- Generate phrases of solo material?
- Expand and reframe them through timed sessions?
- Form small ensembles and develop collective strategies in motion
- Make connections and integrate
This time at Performa, we’ll dive into your sources of creative inspiration to develop practical tools and approaches, aligning with your career, body, and heart. We will even play with vertical stacks and sight line perception to invite a variety of live ideas to feed your process.?

All workshops include guided warm up, learning module, and ample space to make. Plus, photo documentation and artist images provided by Little Blue World.

BIO:
Adam Kerbel (he/him/el) is part of a developing movement towards brave new performances created by networks of independent artists. Kerbel co-founded Almanac, co-produces Cannonball Festival, and established Performa Choreographic Incubator. His work has received presentations at New York Live Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Skirball Cultural Center, Terra Nova, Los Angeles Dept. of Cultural Affairs, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Co and Breaking Walls in Cairo, Egypt.
