Parts Work Group starting in September.

We have an opening in an online Parts Work therapy group in September.? The group is geared for expanding creativity and self-expression: .

This is a support and accountability group for artists and all people looking to lean into creative identity. The work focuses on Jungian shadow work, and is a powerful place to discuss career moves, art projects, or even creative risks in personal relationships. You do not
need to be a full time or paid artist to join the group - we are all creative minds, and the group is meant to support the dive into that persona.

The work centers largely on Voice Dialogue, which is a form of parts work. Parts Work emphasizes the value of the various, distinct voices inside us.? How does the "critic" in you relate to the "impulsive one"?? How does the "practical mind" relate to the "eccentric self"?
We will - in the group context - explore speaking from one of these voices at a time, allowing the edges of personality to be expressed without shame.

The group is made of about 5-7 people.

I am a clinical psychologist, filmmaker and author, and one focus for me is integrating artistic life with practical career choices.? I look forward to exploring cross-career options with you.

Please feel free to reach me at ilana.simons@... if you'd like to talk more about the work.? The work can be covered by insurance.
