I read that people had been ¡°ripped off¡± by Imperial Gas because they were using magnets to give false amounts of gas in the tanks.? Shortly after that I completely ran out of gas, and decided to try Gas La Providencia.? Since I knew the tank was empty, this was the perfect way to see how much gas my tank actually held.? And since I knew I was now dealing with a reputable company I would also learn how fast I used that gas.?

After updating my receipts in Quicken I saw that my gas tank only needed refilling every other month.? Imperial gas had been filling it every month and on almost every occasion, they put in more gas than my tank holds.? This error in my trusting Imperial Gas cost me hundreds of dollars (US.)? Lesson learned by me.? I hope this saves someone else from making the same mistake
