9:30 - Noon
David Booth and I have scheduled a day for trail maintenance, trimming
vines, cutting back vegetation, and cleaning benches and water features. I
plan to get there around 9:30 and work until around noon. The mosquitoes
and deer flies have been tolerable lately, but long sleeves and pants are
recommended. I always bring a head net and have extras if the deer flies
are a nuisance. I will be checking trail cams and changing out memory
sticks if you wish to see the set up. Footwear that can handle briars and
good gloves are also recommended. Loppers, trimmers, and hand clippers are
good to bring. I will have bottled water, but bring prefered food and
fluids.
The birding has been good lately in the sanctuary and the weather should be
nice. Call or text if you have questions.
