Band data config for an Anan 7000 DLE MkII?

I think, to do band data I just use the Yaesu/Icom port on the LA-1k

I *think* the entries in the manual for the LA-1k for BCD would translate directly with the check boxes in the Thetis or PowerSDR MRX software where the 1 would be a ticked box and a 0 unticked.

Just a standard DB9 serial cable is my assumption as the reference to Null is only for the Kenwood port as well?

Anyone set this up and try it?? Just curious if I'm missing any detail here?

Hey Chris,
I sent you an email using your QRZ address on this. I am running the same setup and wanted to know if you got this working so that the LA-1K went to stand-by when you tuned using Thetis.

I replied, no I didn't. The RF detection worked well enough I left it alone. I run non-resonant antennas so I have to tune anyway, so I put the amp in standby, tune with 10-15W and then put the amp into oper and go. I also have an RFKit that uses TCI for CAT but it doesn't put the amp in standby to tune so the procedure I use is identical even with band switching run by CAT. I put the amp in standby, send a tune signal and then put it in operate.

If you want to put the amp into standby when you hit tune, you will need an external utility, something like Node Red that will first send a command to put the amp in standby and then activate the rig to send a tun. You would use the external utility to tun, not the rig directly as it will have to put the amp in standby via a command first before the rig is triggered.
