Palstar told me it was not necessary to use an amp relay between my LA-1K and my Icom IC-7300. But also keep input power level between 30-50 watts.

I have a new LA1K and i get different opinions on whether a Amp Relay (Ameritron ARB -704) is needed to be run between the Icom 7600 and my LA1K. I didn't think so but the dealer said it just adds safety. Opinions? TIA..
