I tried that. All new factory made high quality cables all around. HF-AUTO shows something between 1.05 and 1.08, amp shows 1.2 or 1.3 (does this in SSB also), and then kicks off, almost always at the very end of the transmission. it has even done it when I turn the "tune" on and off in fldigi.
