He has a personal gripe with Palstar.? If he wants to complain about amps, he should buy an MFJ/Ameritron and discuss their three month turn around on repairs which you will need.
I find the Palstar refreshingly well designed, well protected and operable.? Probably one the best Solid State amps made.?? Pair it with an HF-Auto, and you can use a KW into anything metal and get out.
Just darn good equipment in my opinion.
