It is the band data line, but when it tunes for cetatin frequencies, it does not trigger the amp output. It sends power to the radio at the input rate, or around ?25-30W without any assistance from the amp. Basically, it senses high SWR. If I physically use a different band on the amp and retune, it works. This amp has worked well on most frequencies. There are just a few this effects, only on MARS frequencies and outside of the ham bands. The TX on the amp turns purple does not allow transmitting with power. For MOST frequencies it works just fine without issues. It seems to be from the 40-60M range.???????
By "auto-band change" do you mean band changing by RF sensing or by band-data line?

?I have used the LA-1K for some time now, basically on MARS frequencies outside of the HAM Bands, including the 60-meter band. Lately I have had issues with the LA-1K not using the correct band (not auto selecting). It gets confused with the certain frequencies including the 60M frequencies and does not know to use 40 or 80 to tune. It would be very helpful to have a 60-meter selection on the amp.? I am also using 1.08S
