Hopefully your LA-1K "no power out" situation is just a direct result of some lose connections relating to its "PTT" circuitry, as I tried to illustrate yesterday in my post

Btw after seeing that Bob NN5D had acquired a brand new Elecraft KPA1500, I took my own advice, as seen in this posting
/g/la1k/message/1182, and acquired my brand new KPA1500 to pair it with the FTDX101D as seen on my QRZ page .
