Running the IC-7300 with just 30-50W into the amp, I saw 900 to 1050W on all bands except 17m.

There it goes into bypass, even dropping power to 15W in 300W out I get the?+Vd bypass.? Going down to 10W in 200W lets it keep working..
Hi Raul,
Literally within days of taking delivery of my brand new LA-1K, purchased directly from Palstar, I was operating the thing (on 249.7VAC according to my DVM) with the FTDX101D as the exciter (RF power setting = 50W) on 40M and got the same error condition as can be seen in this video clip I shared with Mr. Mark Ward (Palstar techician) on January 30, 2023.
Excerpt from Mr. Ward's email response for your consideration, as follows:

Hi Raymond,
The information below applies to LA-1K units with a voltage select switch.
?
Bypass+VD flashing on display, 50V reading now:
?
This fault display tells us that you lost +50V DC power at some point during the last transmit cycle.? The display indication stays on, even though the +50V has now come back.?? This display resets when you transmit again, unless there is another voltage fault.
?
The most common cause for this indication (if operating on 120V) is: Power Supply Switch not set for 120V).
Another possibility, is the LA-1K power supply voltage selector switch may have failed under load.? This switch is only connected when set to 120V.
?
If Bypass+VD comes up when operating on 240V, either the LA-1K power supply is faulty, or the AC supply voltage is too low.
?
If the power supply is found to be faulty, the LA-1K will have to be returned for repair.
?
Regards,
Mark

With my LA-1K doing that, using a FTDX101D as the exciter, I don't think your IC-7300 is causing the "Bypass +Vd" error.? For months, said error condition has happened to me, from time to time, when operating the inferior LA-1K, until I turned it into a static display as my backup amp, after taking delivery of my brand new KPA1500 amp from Elecraft before their price increase.
All are welcome to visit my QRZ page to check out some interesting HF contacts I made with my Elecraft amp.
