Hi folks I don't like to leave the LA-1K running all the time so I built a remote power switch.? I bought one of the gray outdoor electrical utility boxes from home depot and some power cord and 240 male and female plugs.? Also a cord for 120 volt.? Then a Dayton 120 volt relay like this:?.? I use a smart switch that I plug in the wall to control the relay remotely and I put this circuit between the 240 wall plug and LA-1K.? ?I leave the LA-1K panel switch in the on position all the time. Here is the smart plug I use. I have two of them and switch them from my phone.?
