Maybe, but mine is usually the last in the string to be turned on and I've never had a problem.
PS > QSK2500 > PS > transceiver > HF-AUTO > LA1K.?
And, in between QSOs, while just listening, I'll turn the amp off, then back on when I need it. ?
Makes no difference that I've ever noticed. ?I run it on 240v, by the way.
