Re: Multiple parallel SMD capacitors - one footprint
Thanks for the reply Erik,
The footprint is currently assigned to every group, and yes, the location of each member of the group is totally arbitrary.? The main center pad(1) is the active pad with

Re: Multiple parallel SMD capacitors - one footprint
...
If the depicted 4x1206 assembly is in your library as a single
component, then I'd just set its value to: 100pF + 47pF + 47pF + 22pF
and add a line of e.g. awk to split that up into 4

Multiple parallel SMD capacitors - one footprint to home them
Hi all
I'm drawing up a Low Pass Filter for a HF power amp.
The topology of the filter requires some parallel capacitors to achieve the required capacitances.
In most cases 4 capacitors (sometimes 6)

Re: Pin length field in the Pin table
Try this:
1. With the Pin Table visible, right-click anywhere on the column
header row.
2. You should get a checklist of columns to make visible.
3. There are 14 available columns - some are not

Re: Pin length field in the Pin table
I use W10 on one PC and W11 on the other.
The "Pin properties" is Ok, the problem is only with the "Pin table".

I'm on Linux. As you can see, everything is fine here. Must be something with your installation. Perhaps you can share your screenshots.

Re: Pin length field in the Pin table
I noticed it starting from 8.0.4, and continuing in 8.0.5.? Moreover, I just checked my second computer,
with KiCAD 8.0.5 installed, the pin length column does not exist as well.

Re: Pin length field in the Pin table
It would be helpful if you said what version you're using. I'm using 8.0.5 and the Pin Length is still there in both the Pin Table and the Properties panel of each pin.

Pin length field in the Pin table
I noticed, that in the new releases of the KiCAD Symbol Editor,
disappeared the Pin length field in the Pin table.
Is the just a mistake and can be the problem cured?

Re: Spurious ERC Warning
Close, Kerim, but no cigar!
I've been experimenting further, and it seems that if a sheet pin is
connected to more than one pin in the sub-sheet (in this case there are

I tried putting a disconnected line on V5DRV, and also a line to a

I've also tried changing the pin type (input, passive etc), and
